Not sure what TIG machine you are using but mine actually came with a dual output regulator when I bought it 3-4 years ago. I didn't notice it until I really looked at it one day.

I have a fairly new Lincoln Precision Tig 225. It's less than a yr old. I'll have to look at the reg and see if it has another outlet. Thanks

Great write up! Is there an ideal orientation of the sensor, such as at 12 o'clock, 10 o'clock, etc.?

Good read Eddie ,thanks. Now do an article on how to install a whipple on a 598 in a weekend . Another good read may be how to install a nascar motor in a marine application ?????

Thanks for this demonstration. I will be doing this and I am wonder where to source 316 bungs (are all O2 sensors 18x1.5 size?). I've seen some stainless ones, but they either say 304 or don't say what grade of stainless. Any good links?

Good write up. I'm planning to have a WB set-up installed before I change carbs.

Hopefully installing the bungs in the SS elbows of my IMCO Powerflows won't be a problem in regards to wetting the sensor.

I've done the 2 hammer trick many times to rpr leaking stamped valve covers/oil pans. Works well.
One word of caution; make sure you have eye protection before you strike 2 hammer faces together.
Bad things have been known to happen.

Just a reminder as this can be dangerous

It's happened to a friend. He had to have shrapnel surgically removed from his forearm.

Nice looking welds! I am running O2 sensors in my lightnings with no issues. I just bought a new set with the bungs welded in by Lightning.

Can you please send me a pic of where your 02 bung is installed on your lightning headers please I bought a set for my boat so I can make it efi there was supposed to be 02 sensors installed and turned out to be a temp sensor on the water jackets so I am going to install a set of 02 sensors for my fitech system
