Edit: there's a few threads about this

I like my AFR, and price was good, just wish I bought them bare because I still ended up setting them up custom for my application, so it defeats the "bolt on and go" price....

and don't try to save a buck here..... buy bare and have them built.... trust me, don't let "HOW MUCH" hurt ya lol

Aluminum don't make the heads better really, it's the flow...

A buddy built 502's with 265 edelbrocks ported, 9.5:1 not sure cam at moment but I think 232/[email protected] .640 lift on 114 , dual plane intake and worked 750 carbs, made 621 hp and 640tq

Those edelbrocks are heavily worked by Billy's old man and are probably 20cc's bigger now.

Funny how good those 502's with those "too small" dale cubic built 750 holleys run.

The cams are from bob and the engine was only spun to around 6250 on the dyno. Carb was super close right from dale with only a bit more fuel needed in the mid range.

A dyno pull isnt the end all to a carbs tune.

Btw, is your boat running yet ? Did your engine builder finish that supercat build ? Or are you still sitting in your den dreaming about boating and throwing cheap shots at me?
