Fuel pump question
I am installing two aeromotive electric fuel pumps. I have the relays no issues on how to wire
.. The information that I am looking for is were do most of you use for a 12 volt trigger for relays ?? Can I use the same for the coil?? Im using MSD boxes The trigger for the relay is very very low amperage to trigger ... Thanks in advance Jim

Use the harness that powers the factory pump as your solenoid ground and signal. I was able to reuse the connector when I ditched my vst arrangement.
Although most people add a relay, there is a fuel pump relay from Merc already installed. I wonder if it's of sufficient duty to power an A1000?

I run off the ignition feed, but I have a push pull(light type) switch that I use as a override so can shut off pump and not the engine, great theft deterrant as well...
