Are HP500 intakes brass lined?
I want to use that intake and will look for takeoffs if so, otherwise I'll just look for the dart aluminums.

I think merlin made a brass lined intake.
Any particular reason you specifically want the dart intake ? |

Any particular reason you specifically want the dart intake ? I have the engines out of the boat and am going to be moving forward with heads/cams (remember our email discussion which was very helpful). I have the Weiand single planes now, and have heard there were better options available now. My thought was that if HP500 dart intakes were brass lined they would work good for me, as I am in brackish water, although I trailer and flush everytime, and have run straight aluminum intakes for years with no issue so not a big deal. I haven't decided but was thinking of going with the Dart hp500 style, Edelbrock victor jr., or even the professional products dart knock offs. Or I could stay with the Weiands if they are adequate. Any thoughts? |

Teague sells brass lined Merlins. Their site shows both of the 9.8 versions as being out of stock.
