Looks like an aluminum block also, that thing must be plenty light compared to a BBC. I am curious how well the aluminum block does with deflection at that power level compared to an iron block.

using high boost, 20psi and over not sure about the aluminum, recommend the iron block, and we run those 1/2 filled to keep the cylinder walls from loosing roundness under boost. I never realized this until taking at length to weisco, they said done lots of test and showed cyl walls not staying round, even with the iron blocks, so we do this to keep ring seal...did not effect running temps or iol temps with the E85

I didn't read the article so maybe this was stated in it, but is that front accessory drive from Wegner? That's what we used. Looks the same. They have got it all figured out to work with a Whipple.

whats that drive setup cost?

A little over 3K with everything. It's all really good parts like a Powermaster alternator, OE p/s pump and water pump, Sanden A/C compressor, all the billet brackets and pulleys, hardware, Gates belt, etc. It is well worth the money. It is designed to work with the Whipple and uses a common belt to drive the blower.
