New to the forum thing, so please don't take offence to blunders.

I would like to find a reputable engine builder in the Pacific Northwest That may be able to rebuild a 1997 7.4 to 400+ high torque that will idle for 2 to 3 hours between cruising hours. the application is 36' hand laid glass Commercial F/V in Alaska.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

What is your base engine and what is your horsepower goal? All 454s will make well over 400 foot pounds.
