I don't own the boat any more, it was all stock including exhaust, never had a reversion issue. It was in a 22 Donzi classic, not fast 68 gps, just a fun little ride.

That lunati you listed, appears to be more agressive by comparing duration numbers, esp by flat tappet standards. I think it be a pretty hot cam for a 454 budget build up.

I liked it, it had a nasty sounding idle, but was easy in and out of gear. Pulled real strong to 5400, worked with the captains choice, nice all around cam. Back when I bought it, Ultradyne
was actually the one selling them.

kris,was their any change in the compression ratio?loosing that much speed equates to at least a 100 hp loss i would guess.i just can,t imagine that cam causing that by itself.

i had 651 cams in my cat,if i remember correctly they peaked at 6500.mine made 950 with 8 lbs boost.i would have never sold it if it had ssm drives.
