i never have but i dont build as many engines as some others or shops do. like most precision machined items they need to be checked before they go into an engine. after all it is a human somewhere doing the work and we all have off moments.

looking at a pair of 572s already built...with about 8 hours on them.ive always dealt with bigger name brand and billet stuff in the race cars.always heard of eagle but never used them.these only have about 750hp so.... not real killer engines.just want them to live

Not my first choice but they'll be fine as far as strength and durability. Counterweight placement has made balancing a PITA in the past, and their finish isn't quite as nice as other imports.

Do you know if the rotating assm's were balanced? I've always been a little skeptical of buying used engines but if the price is right go for it. You plan on doing a tear down and refresh or throw in and go? Regarding Eagle I've never had any issues with their products.

was thinking a quick dyno and throw them in,the rest of the stuff seems to be good parts.dart blocks, afr 357 heads, diamond pistons, comp rockers, dominators.probably would'nt hurt to look at the bearings
