Also you (the OP) may want to check with you balancer (you have to have the motor balanced) on what flywheel you should use. Just because the crank is internal balance you are adding longer rods and I assume shorter pistons and may throw the balance off by a mile. Just an example I stroked a 427 Tall block (all internal) and had to use 454 flywheel and balancer (external weight) lightened up some. It was a lot cheaper then them adding heavy metal by a mile. Also IMHO you should not use a fluid balancer because you are having everything balanced and a fluid damper is not a static weight.

Everything has to be balanced as a unit. Your machine shop should be able to tell you exactly what you need. I have built 496 with internally balance crank and the machine shop milled the weights off my external balance 454 flywheel. Good luck. That should make that boat fly.
