Do you have any pulls with either carb, atleast a few hundred rpm higher than what you have showed ? Just trying to see if any valvetrain instability or fuel supply issues.

here is my pull, Ryan pulled them slow and I did in full Marine trim as they are in boat, did you use accessorys also? marine exhaust?

SB- I doubt it's valvetrain problems as I'm using pretty decent parts and we've actually switched lifters and pushrods and still saw the same results.

Something weird is definitely going on with that power band. Sometimes we tend to just look at HP numbers, without looking at the whole picture. To me, it looks like the engine is dying off way too early HP wise, relative to the torque band. I don't think its the heads holding it back thats for sure, I don't think its the dominator and 454 R intake..... What ignitions do you have, and where are the rev limiters set to, if any? |

Your cam is malfunctioning, that`s real issue.
One of them awesome cams that among other things after 10 pulls the cam is starting to pit because it`s been ground past the hardning layer. |
