Thanks for the input from everyone like i said.... they are going to be better then the 177's I will re post if there is any mph increase and if there is how much..

What is your static comp ratio???? If its more than 8.5 then 7# may be too much boost on pump fuel.

One way to find out is when you get them installed and on the water. Like you said either way you'll definitely have more power regardless. With your other package you were done maxed out so your heading in the right direction regardless.

I've had 177's, 250's, and 420's, on my 454's. The 250's, are a nice upgrade over the 177's.

With 6lbs of boost, you'll be even cooler air temp, than those 177's making 4lbs. 2 more lbs of boost, little cooler air charge, I'd think 50-75hp is within reason.

Should be fine at 7#'s then and going from only 4#'s with the 177's, I'll now say close to 625hp.
