If you have decals or pin striping, neither is original. They sell the P-27 decals on Ebay. Enjoy your purchase:D

I still have a chance to back out but this sale is through a very old (1890's ) dealer who sold this boat back in 1989 and sold the owner another two boats. So they know him and describe him as someone who really looks after his stuff.
This is also a 100% freshwater boat.

Must be the one at Hutchinsons then. Looked nice in the pix, price was definitely right!

Thanks for your advice...
Yes it is a Hutchinson's. I will hopefully get to see it on April 21st. It is a single engine. They have told me that it has had a long block replacement....but they feel that the current manifold and carberator are the wrong parts, and they are going to fix that issue. Any thoughts? I understand they sold it new back in '89 and know the original owner...who just traded it in on something else. They say they have sold him three boats over the years.

95% of my dealings with Hutchinsons have only been at the gas dock - I fuel up there almost exclusively in the 1000 Islands. The few times I've been in the showroom for parts or something they've been nice to deal with.

Farrell -- Did you end up buying the boat? It still says pending on their website
