I just built bare dart heads. All apps are different but I went wit ferrea valves (super alloy exhaust and 6000 intake), 8205sp isky valves springs. Rocker studs were through dart but are AFR

Edit in: Valve stem clearance was set to .0015/.002 intake/exhaust and spring height at 1.86 inch

Mild, that is the deal there, but I do a lot of my own as well, what I use is a heavy wire(coat hanger etc) cut and grind to the installed height using a outside mic and use the wire as a go/no go to set the height...works well...Rob

it will get the job done for sure just not as efficient. Kinda like tuning an engine without a wb o2. You can do without but sure nice to have.
