Are these drop in units? One wire hook up like a gm hei?

Yep...one wire. DUI's are HEI's modified for marine use. I've been running in my '79 255 Liberator with 400+ HP Vortec/Bravo's for 3 years...no issues.

I also run a DUI on my 525sc. Its a few years old now. No issues.
