Default would you notice 100 more ft.lb. torque

in a single engine boat (same stroke, same rpm) lets say hp and torque curves are similar, w/ the exception one engine is up a hundred

would you notice the engine that was up 100

Hell yah, but if you don't, it's time to throw away the boat and/or driver. LOL.

I have a formula 242. Over winter I added 100lbs of torque everywhere. It is much more fun now. Very noticeable.

Without a doubt on any engine but think of it on a 400 to 500hp engine that's like 20-25% more power and 7 to 8 mph.

plan is stay inside design limits of drive. specifically 500 torque w/ operating range 5500-6000, another member i spoke w/ said 5000-5500 would be better

drive is b1 sweptback, it's at mr. gadgets getting some mods, setup, and drilled and tapped so i can run the oil thru a cooler.

You will make more power if the torque curve is the same +100. At 5250rpm you would have 100hp more! At 2625rpm you would have 50 more HP
