I have a 2006 Baja Outlaw with a 496 H.O. with a Bravo X drive. Does anyone else have issues with it taking a while to plane off? It takes close to a minute to get on plane. I had a 99 outlaw with a 502 a few years ago which was much faster. Is this just how they run or is there something I can do to help it gain some power? Thanks

I've owned many boats and not one that took more than 5 seconds or so. You either have some engines issues or way over propped. What diameter and pitch prop you have and also what is your top speed fully trimmed RPM? Should be around 5k min. I have a feeling your around 4

Now a skater with surface drives a little different story but thats a whole different deal all together.
