whats the torq spec for bravo transom plate?

The 8 locknuts are torqued to 25 lb-ft using an X pattern starting from the middle. The manual I have says to tighten in small increments and go around several times before the proper torque is applied.

you are right. it is not a lot. they are strong stainless studs. except the aluminum lower one on the early bravos. you could easily go 75 to 90 ft lbs. if you were trying to seal compression in you would need that much torque. if you don't want to crush your wood transom, you need around 25 ft lbs.
