shipping a outdrive

That's the lid in the background which also has internal bracing to support the top of the drives. After it was finished I had the lid shrinkwrapped at the marina to waterproof it.

Have you tried Fastenal 3PL? I shipped an extension box and all internal components on a pallet and it was only $75. Where it was $150 everywhere else. When I went to my local store they had no idea the had this service.

Cheapest will be to split it and ship it separately via Fed Ex. Upper will cost around $80 and lower around $68. I've shipped around 8 drives this way this summer. Shipping as one unit will run around $250 on a pallet via a RL, CCX, ect. So long as you trust your boxing skills, Fed Ex is the best deal.
