Disagree, but that's what forums are for, that is like saying a dyno is a waste, in the end, I have flow numbers that were done on the bench my guy uses for ALL his engines, a head guy with 40 years of hand porting heads, and not magazine flow numbers, I am ok with that, bob spec'd cam with none of that... I am willing to accept the results this time

Ok, let me clarify again. The information is useful for your guy to specify cams for your engines which is all you really need. The information is not useful for comparative purposes against out of the box afr flow numbers or against another porters work which is what the rest of us would be interested in. Based on my limited experience with researching my parts I think those are good heads for you. I think the 305s are getting a bit marginal for 6k 700hp 540. I'm sticking with my original prediction that the biggest improvements you'll see will be from intake/ carb/ exhaust

Is this the infamous "pool girl"?
Did she have excessive wear on her lobes?

Your on a roll tonight. Doc cut your meds today? Just playing. Regarding your question it's my personnnel preference and experience with Boat hull, weight, single, twins, etc has always played a part. A slippery hull or cat - different scenerio. I'm only a weekend warrior but been at it a while and been pretty fortunate with my own decisions as well as help from others whom are very successful. I grew up around engine builders and a head guy like valako and have dealt with real world experience from the shop to the water and owned many boats. My 15 year old son can build an engine but designing a combo as you know where the real expertise comes in. I've even been confused as of recent. All components pretty well set other than cams. Going to consult with Jim v who's porting my heads and intakes as well as Bullet. I've got one but want another for a back to back test. Also would like 1250 dom in case I need more carb. Borrowing one for dyno use would be awesome but doubt I'll get that lucky so.... Back to the 325's I think intakes and exhaust will help for sure. For tims sake I certainly hope so.

Blowers!!!

I'm pretty certain I will end up with less cam than Tims.

i have a 1150 dominator you can borrow for testing if you want to try it.

Does BOB M. even post on OSO anymore??? Just curious.

Gitrdunn......Did Jim V do anything to my engines? Seems to have a good following.
