Hey Scott, good luck with all and we love mastiffs too! Great dogs! Had one that played with a bowling ball.

Will have to get a list of tools. To see what you have and what I need to bring. I have funny story sort of. My last out of state boat that I traveled to - I asked the owner about tools over the course of phone calls not once but many. He said he had everything that was needed to work on the engine side. He said without a doubt every hand tool and some power tools "don't worry " was the words about 10 times to make me quit asking.

So I get there and he starts pulling out these small tackle boxes that are mostly filled with Harbor Freight tools . I'm a thousand miles away and was just handed about 15 small tackle boxes filled with HB tools, The look I gave him was priceless. I did bring some of mine own stuff but should nt have listened to him about the tools. Anyways thought it was funny. Note to Scott as well here -

Some time before next summer, he'll have a very nice AT with fresh motors and drives, a new transom and probably a new interior and paint job too!!

Scott, you will love your boat, it will be awesome and you'll never get back what you've spent. Welcome to the real world of go-fast boats. :):)

RR

Does anyone ever get money spent on a boat back?...it may happen on rare occasion, but be real :-) Since I was 6 (LBJ era) it was drilled into my head that a boat is simply a hole in the water you pour money into...it is al a matter of degree.

John - I suspect i may not have all that you need, I have basics and my only HB tool is a borescope :-) I will attempt to acquire what I don't have (e.g. I don't believe I have any yspecialty tools). Nomatter what I have or don't have, you will not be surprised.

we both have been quiet, Scott wanted to get his engines winterized last month and put the boat to bed. I had a few not so good things happen that really I do not talk about personally, but will add some of it,

the Florida storms as hit Melbourne Beach was not as bad as expected but bad enough. My parents have a second home of living there, My dad health as we found out 2 months ago not good at all, I completely hate to even think aboiut this. Anyways he drove down to Florida all by himself to see what damage has taken place to their second home. He is staying down there (snow bird) and feels better down in Florida compared to NY. Anyways I was on call just incase I had to fly over or to where ever in his travels to Florida for whatever reason good or bad. I do not blame Scott for not wanting wait. His boat is put up as the last word I got. In the spring we will move forward this. Bad timing and cold weather settling in MN put this all on hold as well.

Sorry to hear that , but we all know life takes unpredictable turns and all you can do is make the best of it.
best of luck and well wishes to the both of you!
