Has anyone measured the camshaft to see if the lobes are ground parallel?
What about lifter bores are they perpendicular to camshaft?
Are the lifter wheels perpendicular to the lifter bodies?

Has anyone checked this?

I dont know if tim has. But it would be pretty coincindental, that nearly a dozen guys, including some pro engine builders, have lifter bores that are off, in gm blocks, as well as dart blocks, suffering from the same lobe issues.

I'm curious to how many MK cams are out there. Hundreds? Thousands?

Geeez that thing looks to be running fat

Have one more thing I would like to see at half lift will the lifter tie bar move free?

He's got wideband but I have a feeling it's excessive idle time and beer drinking. :ernaehrung004:

Am I seeing measurements correctly? So .040 difference? We discussed this being an issue I believe. Black baja mentioned it but I honestly wouldn't have thought it would have been that much within that short of time. Egads. Lobes drop off extremely fast. Not a lot of spring pressure or lift were talking about here.

I was reading up on jones cams and his inverse radius lobe design the other night. Just trying to determine whether it be a good design or bad. Been around for some time now but I personally haven't looked into it much. I hit the pipe and come up with miracle lobes in the past but can never remeber chit about later. Go figure. Lol

Which one is the intake and which one is the exhaust. Or does it have two exhaust valves per cylinder?
