Jesus Christ. You sound like a high school girl who got dumped on prom night. Grow a set and be a ****ing man for crying out loud.

In my short time of being a boat owner in the last 13 years, I 've had 6 boats. Every single one of them has been old. I cannot tell you, how many hot summer days and nights, I was sweating like a pig in the bilge repairing chit. How many times I've had to pull engines, pull drives, swap cams in the boat, rewire stuff, rerig, rebuild, and everything in between. The tons of money spent, tons of labor , and aggravation. Last winter, every single weekend at Icdedppl's house working on boat stuff. It's tiresome, and a full time job. Especially with an old boat.

I've always been a do-it-yourselfer. I'm not a pro, I don't claim to be, want to be, or any of that. I have a limited budget, that I must work within. Therefore, I have always tried helping others out, who are like myself, in any way I can. I understand not everyone can drop their boat off at Teague for some new engines to be installed, or re-rigged, or whatever. By being able to do some of this stuff yourself, and willing to get your hands dirty, even on a limited budget, you can maybe go out and play like the big boys do.

I've always looked at oso tech section, as a place for guys who like doing their own stuff, or NEED to do their own stuff. While I know that my posts can certainly be rude, arrogant, sarcastic, and not what some want to hear, I get it. The worst thing that happened to me, was becoming a fast typer. I often don't know when to shut the fuk up.

Tim, by all means, carry on with your thread. Maybe someone here , will learn something out of it. You've had some good input from many parties involved.
