Question riser gasket replacement

We all now that riser gaskets are #1 for leaking water into our motor's and cousing troubles. How often do you change your gasket's for prevventive maintace? Fresh water? and salt?

I never changed a riser gasket unless I had it apart for something else. Right now I'm on my third season. Mostly fresh , one or two dunks a year in salt but flush it when I get home and piss my neighbor off But that's ok I work 4p-12m and get up every morning to his GD dog , that noise makin $hit machine.
