looking for a set of heads for my Eliminator, ran across a set of iron merlins, any body had any experiance with these ? thanks Rob
I ran Merlin heads for a few years. Mine were wedged and fully ported by Jim Valako, I also believe the old A-Class race boat had Jims Merlin heads on them. The thing about the Merlins they were ~20lbs/head heavier than my stock 088 iron GM heads. They are F'n anchors. Mine did make great power though. In untouched form they are just a step up from stock heads.
