DO cool fuel lines go bad? Got a kink in one of mine. Obviously dont want a leak but when the cool fule was pulled the line kinked. They work fine but wondering if these are maintenance items.
Thanks

There are some issues with some of the older cool fuel systems, specifically around paint flaking off the inside of the coolers, and clogging up injectors and other things.
Granted, what you describe is likely nothing in that arena to worry about, but it COULD possibly become choke point which might lean out an entire bank or engine unexpectedly. I wouldn't risk it, and would replace.

I just replaced some on my SCI's just past the fuel filter.I.. They need to hold about 30 psi.. I went to local hydraulic hose guy. They make stuff for fork lifts and stuff. Anyway . I got some really cool stainless looking stuff for 22 bucks a hose.. Rated for 1200 psi.. Hope that helps
