If I get moutns without a top step, I can relocate my batteries behind my fuel tanks in the very front of the bilge, under the rear seats where I won't have to step around them.

I use a red top for starting, blue top for house/overnighting.
I've had good luck with Red Tops over the years, the one in the boat is probably close to 9 years old now, the one in my truck is probably 6 or 7 years old. I had two blue tops that I bought 10 years ago that were always lazy. Finally broke down and bought a new blue top this past summer and wished I had done it a long time ago.
As mentioned Eddie Marine sent out an e-mailer advertising sales on optima boxes.
