I do. It's a matching #s car and I don't want to screw with the original L34 396ci and end up sending a piston through the block or something. That's why I'm playing with this 494ci. Do you have something?

I agree, the advantages if they do exist for us in the real world are probably not detectable. I was really just relaying what was explained to me. I did however, do the 8.1 firing order on my latest project, which is not on the water yet.

Nice! Let's see some pics. I just took mine down off the rotisserie last June. It was the first time in 8 yrs that I had it running. It's the first time since 82 that it's been on the road. There isn't a bolt on the car that I didn't remove... Here's a couple of pics of some of the work I did. Most of it is original, but I did put a new floor pan and quarters in. I replaced the rockers, but I was lucky to get a perfect set of factory ones. I've finished 99% of the body, but I have a couple of tweaks I want to complete before I paint it.

Not in the least. You're good. The question was already answered.
Those are some beautiful 1st gens you have there. I can't wait to get mine into paint. Possibly this summer. I hope you have yours over at CRG & Camaros.net. Great sites if you haven't been.
