Something new everyday. I love it. Some pretty interesting post. Sometimes everything you think to be what's right is just the opposite. All this is good stuff.

509CI
8-1 compression
241/250 .625/.625 cam
5# boost

That is all that there was to the swap. Unbolted 1 set, bolted on the other heads, reused the head gaskets, set the lash at 3/4 turn, set the base timing to 8 deg and let her rip. Picked up 3 mph. Maybe it shouldn't have, but it did.

That's awesome. Whatever works you know.... Kinda defies logic but that's what's so cool about it. I like your style. Get it going and let's see what happens attitude!!! What sucks is when you do everything by the book so to speak and over think projects and they end up like Full Forces. And that's not any dig Tim I'm being honest.

Welcome to my life the last 2 years...lol

If I could make a list of info that was good then and not now... but then I would be beating a dead horse again... so no need to. Hahaha

Yes, these are what I put on. No port work. Straight out of the box. Installed some Manley Extreme Duty exhaust valves and bolted them on.

I have since sent the 325's back to brodix and got new seats installed. I plan on putting them on my new 555 build. Almost wish I had another set of the 365's.

To get back on the water, I bolted on a pair of BB2's that I had on the shelf. They were the 365cc runner with 119cc chambers. Boat picked up 3 mph with no other changes. I didn't even change the tune.

I am not exactly sure what this means, But it would appear that MY boosted engine likes a bigger head. It made 705hp with the 325's, so I assume it is making around 750-760 now?
Hey snap what does your 575sci consist of component wise. I was just wondering if it was more boost and heads or what. Also did you know the fuel from TN was 87 octane? If so don't the sci's have any ignition retard components like we use to add years ago to the bm 420's and have a couple of cases of octane boost aboard. At the time there was only one brand that actually worked. I didn't catch up on your other thread yet but kinda facing the same.
