This feels like a stupid question, but what oil pans are you all using? I'm yanking the engine for a cam swap and feel the standard GM pan is small on capacity. It is a budget build so a billet 40qt pan isn't in the plans, but it seems like it can be better.

Not a stupid question at all. Some pans out there are junk. I been using this Milodon for a few years now and it seems to be pretty nice. This one in the link is for a Mark lV .

Just the stock 4ish quart unit that came on the crate motor.
