Rochester Quadrajet
I need to have a Rochester Quadrajet carb rebuilt for my 7.4 Mercruiser in my family cruiser. I remember seeing on here the name of a person or business who specializes in this but cant find it now. Or should I replace it?
Thanks

Cliff can help you out with everything from a stock rebuilt with well plugs fixed and new throttle shafts, all the way up to major tweaks to support a higher performance build. If you are just cleaning up a stock Q-jet, I would just buy one of his kits and do it yourself. Not that hard to do.
BTW - this would be a good time to correctly fix those leaky well plugs that make you have to crank it until the fuel bowl fills up whenever it has been parked more than a few hours.
