looking for input from anyone who has tried the comp cams xtrem marine xm284hr 112 lobe separation 110 center line, 230int / 290 ex duration @.50. looking in this area for lift .547 but want to stay away from big duration. pleasure/ performance boat. p.s. fairly long no wake zone to get to the big water if that matters.

I had O2 bungs in the exhaust so tuned the carb with a wideband. would idle ALL day with NO issues...

i started to post similar info but deleted it because i thought some would argue the fact that a smaller engine could need a bigger cam.some don,t understand the role piston speed play,s.i also think the op needs more carb.
