I can provide something close to the ID's and for less money - and of course you will have to tune matching your set up.

We are running these same injectors in the custom 665 we built. that I can provide.

And so far there is no perfect match drop in Injector for the 500 EFI leaving the tune stock. Still testing for it thou. Possible will have to go the modify injector route.

It takes time and money to do so. Just saying

The are 100 percent Bosch but not off the shelf injectors. We are using them for the 665 Lavey engine and I would not being using them if Mark, and others in our loop including myself did think they were as good. The ID's was in the mix as well and it was only these 2 brands of injectors for what was going to be used in our build. Can careless what else is on the market for injectors cause the ID's is about as good as it gets.

I currently have a 500efi up and running on the dyno with a set of Bosch 42lb injectors. My intentions are to offer a OEM like complete drop in injector/ecm reflash kit for the consumer and I am getting very close to accomplishing this. This injector is the proper size for this application and uses the same connector as stock so no need to modify the wiring harness or use an adapter harness. The injector body does require a very minor modification for a OEM like fit in the rail which after a little trial and error I have accomplished. I found a source that flow matches sets of these injectors. I confirmed them on my own injector bench and they are dead on. The tune is still in the r&d stage but is getting very close. I have spent countless hours on the dyno replicating all factory air/fuel ratios and running characteristics across all RPM and load ranges. The motor currently idles smoother than stock and runs just like factory across all RPM ranges. I want to log a couple more hours on the dyno verifying/testing at which point the motors will be installed in my own personal boat and put through their rigorous paces constantly paying close attention to the air/fuel ratio so I can confirm that the tune is 100% perfected and the engines perform like a factory engine should.

F350, I also have a 2000 Fountain with injector problems. I am going to send MDG Jason my computers and injectors hopefully overnight them tomorrow. Willing to try a different approach this go around rebuilds get expensive.

I have been to busy at the shop this week to get on here with a update but I do officially have a solution. All testing has been complete and I have sent complete kits out to F350 and HFP.

I am in very pleased with the outcome of everything. The engines run great with new injectors and tune. Idle smoother and more consistent than stock.

The complete kits include 8 genuine Bosch injectors with the body slightly modified to work properly with the stock fuel rail/clips, ECM reflash, 8 new metal clips, 8 new manifold orings, and injector oring lube. This is everything you need for a simple and successful installation.

Update. So after a long search for replacement injectors for my 500 EFIs, The search is over. I got in touch with Jason at MDG Performance and after driving my ECMs down to his shop (Its an hour away). He reflashed the ECMs and I reinstalled them with everything in the kit pictured above. They fit like a glove. So I am hear to tell you that my boat as long as I have owned it has never EVER run like it does no. The injectors and the flash are great. So if you are need of replacement injectors for your 500 EFIs you need to call MDG Performance and ask for Jason 410-956-5381
