Ok well since I am going to need more compression which pistons are the better choice? The four critical points of interest are,
# 1 Compression ratio of 9.5-9.7 cr (unless otherwise recommended)
# 2 Weight to match the dimple rods and 14097044 crank balance
# 3 Non floating pressed wrist pins (for the forged dimple rods)
# 4 Must be forged
I do't really want to spend top $ for these pistons but dont want the cheapest junk either.
Bore size is .030 over (4.280")
Gasket crush size .039
As far as the space between the top ring and deck will depend on piston choice I am assuming.
Engine specs as of my current configuration
ZZ502 hyraulic roller camshaft (will be using the original lifters and pushrods)
Dual plane factory GM brass insert high rise manifold
Edelbrock 750cfm marine carb
Comp cams 1.7 pn 1620-16 rockers
Stellings aluminum exhaust manifolds with thru hull dry pipes
RHS (Pro-Topline) cast iron rectangular port 118cc (might be 119) chambers, 2.19" intakes and 320cc intake runners
Gen 6 4 bolt 7.4 block
Factory forged dimple rods w/ 7/16 rod bolts (is an upgrade to new arp bolts needed?)

Edit, didn't read the 525sc setup. Easily doable!
