I was thinking, hold on. You might have a shot with valves, but valves don't cause blowby. If it is coming out valve covers it is going by the rings...or right thru the pistons.

Just one pic.

I little time with a dingleberry hone and some new rings and that will be good to go.

as said before, pull it down...

Btw what carb/carbs set up do you have currently?

Yeah I will acquire a boroscope and hope for the best. Currently the real main is still good to go and with the new set up I went with a air gap intake with a proform 850 carb

head gasket

Anything that you do besides pulling it out and tearing it down is a complete waste of time and money. 7&8 are on opposite banks. The chances of both head gaskets being blown at the same time is slim to none

Agreed 100%. Nothing is going to fix 75# of compression until it is torn down.

Ok an update: I added lucas to number 7 and 8 cylinder as well as the oil. I let it run for about an hour. I checked the compression the next day after it sat all night and day and number 7 has 150lbs. number 8 still has 75 but I didn't realize that i didn't actually get lucas inside of the cylinder due to the headers blocking the bottle. I did also inspect the cylinders with an endoscope and besides a good bit of carbon on the piston, the walls looked pretty good. I made sure that lucas got in number 8 cylinder and let it set over night. I know this isn't the correct method but for an engine that has very low hours I really don't want to tear it apart.

Very low hours but a good bit of carbon on pistons?
