Is it a billet cam? Depending on the lobe, lift and duration. I run solids on everything. Last hydraulic roller cams I used were 244/248-648/644 and ended up running tight lash solid rollers but they were billet cams. Engines loved them.

It seems there are claims of being able to run those rpm's, but I have not yet been able to get confirmation or the amount of lift. I currently run solids that are due for a change and just thought I'd see if I could find someone with first hand experience.
Thanks

You could probably run .400 lift at 7k all day long, so the question of how much lift you can get to do that is a good one. I'd think that you'd have the best luck with the Comp cams short travel units so give them a call and see what they're willing to warrantee up to.

Make sure these claims are from endurance....Not 1/8 and 1/4 mile people....unless that is what you are doing to.
