seen exactly what you are saying...just not sure how rigid you want to make the hull, some flex is needed...

All the bulkheads I added etc to my 32 project I left a 3/8" plus or minus from the hull and glassed in on each side allowing a little flex. Not saying it's right but the way I was taught as well as just seeing how many old school bulkheads were installed. Makes sense to me.

Ok so i get that I should leave a gap on the sides and not glass the hell out of it so it can flex. Thanks to everyone for straitening me out, or i would have beded the sides too. ( which also makes me wonder if my stringer repair is TOO stiff ) Now on the top and bottom I was planning on glassing and bedding. Is that too much also? I have seen on many checkmates where the dash cracks from what i assumed was from the screws pulling out of the bulkhead, allowing the deck to flex and crack. Which Is why I was going to glass them in in the first place.
