Does anyone know any history on this boat, I seen bad86ss had it at one time

Is this the boat you're looking at?

Looks like a nice package. The drive seems a bit rare but looks hefty.

You need to find a stern power guy and check parts availability before committing to that boat. Nice drive but extinct.

The drive would concern me.

Just checked sternpowr.com. they have parts for 1000 series and 100 series. I would call them and discuss this 2000 series drive before considering this boat. 50k. Is that cheap for this boat, or normal price? If it is worth 100 with a #6 on it it would be another story.

Just trying to find out more specs on the motor who built it internals looks like bad86ss owned it and had Motor out at one time

Would a boat like that be custom built from profile like that . Or someone sunk a lot of money in it redoing everything

JRider 05-16-2017 06:53 AM

I am fairly certain that profile did build that with that drive, I remember reading an article on it. Was supposedly a 130mph boat. Last I knew the old owner of profile had some stern power stuff laying around, I still have his number.

I can't contribute on the drive but the boat looks like a ton of fun.

getrdunn 05-16-2017 08:45 AM

50k seems like a good deal but if you scattered the drive and parts were not available I would at the very least figure on the expense of a drive and assm. Could easily be half the expense of the boat to rig and replace. With that kind of power and still holding up says something for it.
