Differences between 8,2 Base and HO
Was looking into the 8.2 Base and HO differences and used BAM's part number look up. The only differences I could find was the PCM. They use the same, cam, crank, heads valves, injectors, fuel pump and regulator. Can anyone verify this?

There is also a restriction in airflow thru throttle body.

My comment comes from it appears to have a slightly rich running Base model and a leaner model HO that runs a tad leaner. Might also be a tad more timing involved but then again its in the PCM |

My thought is no one needs Whipple or anyone else, all you need to do is install the HO PCM and you have more HP. Just trying to find info that proves or disproves the issue?
