The consensus of the brain trust in the tech section *circlejerk was happy keeping it in the 12s with the EFI folks being happy with it in the lower 13s. Subtract a full point for boost applications.
*circlejerk was a handy and fun resource but seems to have disbanded after the recent overhaul. |

Okay changed primary Jets from 83 to 84 stock is 82 secondaries where 92 went to 94's which is stock installed 6.5 power valve had a 5.5 noticed the bowl behind the power valve was dry not sure if it's supposed to be like that
ordered a new digital afr meter was using an analog one needle type there were some complaints of it locking up at 14.2 which has happened to me auto meter said could be bad ground or bad power at times the needle would clock for five or six minutes before reading the value or if I cycled the motor on a restart the needle or gauge would read looked at my Dyno paperwork afr was 12.1 to 14.2 rpm is 3500 to 6000 Ibut I did change intakes this year went to a brodix hvh high rise runners dyno intake was a med rise short runner Merlin intake with small runners |
14's?? yikes!!
I run full time widebands, I see mid to high 12's cruising, 12.2 ish WOT... if it varies a ton you might wanna have some carb work done... AF should not change that much throughout powerband... |
