Solving rear main seal oil leaks BBC MKIV
Got to reading article on Hot rod engine tech regarding UK company called GST RACING SEALS which is making one piece rear seal for BBC and
is designed to be cut and twisted around the crankshaft for installation. While this seems extreme, it is in fact a brilliant solution
here are the links
Hot Rod Engine Tech One-Piece Rear Main Seals for Big Block Chevys - Hot Rod Engine Tech
GST Racing Seals The Motor Racing Divison of Gregseal Technology Ltd.
I'm thinking about trying a couple of the seals out,
Received quote for the rear seal: US$65+postage.
