E controls totally taken apart for repair above pics. These ecms are installed for Volvos Penta s -- Ilmors -- Pleasure Craft marine -- Crusader - Indmar. Will add not one other person repairing these in the USA - but take a guess who is ?
MEFI s I can pull any part off the ceramic circuit board with out issue 92 percent of the time. There is false info someone whom says that can not be done ever. That is wrong info and outdated info. I think that needs to be brought up for boaters who are having issues with MEFI ecms and or running issues that can be traced backed to the ecm.. They ( MEFI s) do get injector driver issues and also voltage regulating issues seems to be common issues. |

I laugh at that pic 3 or 4 years ago. rebuild the carb for a boat that would not start because no delivery of fuel and then hop over to repairing a hp 525 PCM 555 with a BAD FUEL PUMP driver that fuel would never stop pumping. . Only in the boat world would one see that. Then we have 40 year old carb design still running around on the waters vs a computer control engine in almost modern years.

2006 496 Mag - Same problem!
I read this forum and I have the exact same issue on my 2006 Sea Ray 496 MAG. I have the same issue with the dealer essentially giving up without being able to figure it out. I saw you mentioned you could potentially look at my PCM, is this something you still work on? I would be very interested in sending mine to you to look at.
