I don't understand the obsession with the intakes, but building $20k worth of motors around a part that most people are throwing away wouldn't be my approach. They're pretty, but a whipple charger with a painted air cleaner is more impressive.

I can supply you with 2 sets of run ready heads to the exception of the guide plates... I strongly recommend using the CC adjustable plates and I will be honest with you, summit sells them for $58 a set not worth me paying freight to get them to me and have to charge more... as far as my heads go, I can put you into my powermax series marine head very reasonably, and we've had great success with these... feel free to PM me for details and pricing... I also have custom cam grinding service and a full line of hard parts...

My build ended up Merlin 3 blocks 540, 9.8 cr, Marine Kinetics cams, AFR325 heads, Merlin intakes, Nickerson worked 4150 carbs @ 1040. made 680 HP on the dyno

I gotta do some measuring to see how much hood modding I would need for that 525 intake to fit in a C3 Vette. Be a fun little car show distraction...
