How many hours since last tune up? If you have a corroded dist cap or bad plug wire or plug you could be blowing a little unburned fuel out one of the exhaust ports or potentially more than one. How many hours on the engine? Also is the fuel slick more noticeable during warm up or pretty much all the time. Compression test might not be a bad idea either.

So the guy states that it was checked out by his local marina and they cant seem to figure out why there is gas coming out the thru hull exhaust. Could the ECU be bad seeing as its a EFI motor? Bad injectors? bad regulator? Im stumped. Apparently the marina said that its fine and to keep running the motor. Id be afraid of washing the cylinders down with fuel and spinning out the bottom end.
