For lack of a better reason other than principle. I find it ridiculous to pay $23.00 to ship a single $9.00 or $12.00 switch (depending on the website). Does anyone here know of a place to source these in handle 3 pin switches?

Especially when you can priority mail for 6.95 just about anywhere in the US. I'm not aware you can find those anywhere else. Did you try Rex marine or even eBay just for the heck of it. When ever I order from cp among others I try and place a decent size order for the same reason.

There are a couple threads about the raping for shipping and handling by these marine suppliers. I stopped ordering from them years ago when a $9 item was $13 to ship. Everything can be found on ebay or somewhere else on the internet.

Get the printed # off the switch and then google it. A place like DigiKey or the like may have it.
As an FYI, there are many areas of the country that costs $12-$13 for 1 pound thru UPS to be shipped from here. Their rates went way up last couple of years. That's why I switched 99% of items to be shipped USPS, especially with many items able to be shipped in one of the 3 sized flat rate boxes.

If I need something small and it’s available through summit I’ll just oreder another case of oil for the value of it. As much as I appreciate CP, Amazon has readjusted our expectations of free shipping.
