As a side note, I ran my Mallory 140's dead headed 9 psi for those years. Last year was the first year I returned to tank. Only because I was filtering out sediment and varnish from the tanks on my new boat that I transferred the fuel system to.

Aeromotive pumps are still tops in my book. I've got the new that's 20+yrs old and still works great. I've install a lot of them that are just as old and I've never heard of one failing

I’m running a Weldon pump and return regulator, carb setup. Very happy

A weldon is where i am leaning. Funny how i had the same question years ago when i was on a budget and got by with a holley blue. Now the only thing i use that for is transferring old fuel.
