If we ran in a lot of heavy salt water I would but we don't. Our other ones stayed nice but we were all ways clean on the engines witch we are fin with.

I couldn't agree more on going Coil Near Plug with IGN1A coils... there's a reason Mercury uses them on all their big engines. Since you're running Holley EFI - and their hall effect setup, it's second nature to eliminate the issues with distributors and the unreliable MSD boxes. You'll have way more control over timing as well (individual cylinder)! You're basically a perfect candidate and it wouldn't cost much more, if any, since you're most of the way down that path and wouldn't need ignition boxes.
