An update if anyone is interested (car build ).

I tore old engine down and inspected all parts out. There was some wear on the cam lobes and lifters. Sent lifters back to Crower and rockers back to T&D for inspect/ refresh if needed. After talking to Crower tech it was determined that I was not running enough spring pressure (200/450 I believe). Still waiting on T&D for inspection results.

I decided to build a new combo, only live once right?

Ordered a twin turbo kit (18-20 week build time). Going to run Precision 64mm or 67mm gen 2 ball bearing turbos.

Old compression was 9:1. Going to lower compression to 8.5:1. It will give a little more safety on pump gas. New turbos should make more power everywhere. I think turbos will make 25psi which should get me 1500ish hp if I ever have the nerve to.

Went back and forth with a friend of mine and Bullet Cam tech. Settled on 238/242 .608/.625 on a 115+4 with slow lobes to be easy on parts. Recommended spring pressure is 240/650. A lot more pressure than I was running before. Bullet tech wanted to give it more duration. I went against his wishs and kept it to the above, again this is a 100% street car where I am concerned with spooling the turbos.

Thanks for any help
The best “simulator” program is a a first class marine engine builder. There are probably less than 10 & don’t buy on price.

Old pushrods were 5/16 .080 6.7".

New pushrods will be 5/16 .112. I wish I could run 3/8" but they will not fit without rubbing and the heads are not recommended to be drilled out.
