The one immediate weakness of the Bravo XR/XZ is the input seal. At high load (heat) and RPM it blows out. Seen that many times should have mentioned it. Their is a new retainer that eliminates the problem but it is only sold on the XR for some strange reason, maybe to use up stock. It can be had separately if it's not on back order. It is a captive arrangement. I have removed the "bore tite" from the earlier XR/XZ seals and used 680 Loctite with no problems. Inset the seal about .020" from the outside surface.
P.S. new retainer uses different # seal
