Default Looking for Delphi numbers

Anyone have a listing of the Delphi numbers which correspond to MEFI numbers?
Have a MEFI 1 and always thought it came from my old motor, but just did notice the Delphi number is for a 350. Not that this is an issue because its my understanding that they can all be reprogramed.

Did call AZ and they did say the Cal# on mine 8M855X15 means it was Calibrated for a 502, so all is good, but would still like to know if anyone has a list of the part numbers

Thanks, this helps
My question came about from someone saying they want a 162 over a 161 model MEFI. My 16189069 which originally was used on a 350 then re-programmed for a 502 had no issues running. Figuring it does not matter but wondered if there was a correlation between the 162 being something better or different then the 161, and which ones were for which motors.

Any way to translate these numbers to which motors they were used on?

Problem with AZ Speed is after they reprogram an ECM, they generally put a lock on it and nobody else can ever get into it without the lunock code.
Not sure if this is the case with yours or not.

I don't plan to use the MEFI-1, my current one is a 3 and if it ever goes bad, I'll just reload the program on my spare 3 I bought. Discussed with Bob at OBD Diagnostics and plan to buy the standard SW so I can get my tune copied and saved. With this site and another I've come to the conclusion that to use the 3 I bought I would wipe the program and reloaded my tune.

Had a guy here looking for a certain part number MEFI (16234539 Merc) and wanted to make sure I knew what I was talking about before saying it will work without issue. So with my old 1 can be used by someone with a 502, and would need a new tune if changes were needed or a different motor

That ecm can be used on any engine. Also, the Mefi1 isn't able to be locked. That didn't start until the 3.

Bob, if you want,. send me your spare 3 and I'll load the tune in it for you so it's ready to go should you ever need it.

The MEFI serial number is not tied to any specific engine. You could use it on a small block, Iron Duke Ford 4 cylinder etc assuming you had all the corresponding inputs (MAP, coolant temp etc.). The rest is in the tune.

I do believe a MEFI 1 can be locked, but Merc never did nor have I run up against one that was. An alternate method of salvaging a tune without cracking a locked MEFI is to record/log the parameters while running. From there you can get a rough idea of the fuel and timing tables. Kind of a goat rope but it is an option.
