That pic was of Sr's boat. Black was just part of the deck mold w/o anything. Wind was horrible. Fix was easy. We both went two different routes with same end results.

If I end up doing the screen, I'm going to get Glass Daves advice on building up a lip on my faring. That way, I can have a 3/8"- 1/2" piece of acrylic so if some one does grab it, it will be stout enough that it won't crack. I do agree with everyone that the flaps look cooler, but I don't like how they are not continuous, and really not all that wide.

My windscreen is only 1/4" inch thick and in 10 years never had an issue with anyone grabbing it or coming close to causing it to crack.
I do have the walk around ledge on my AT though so nobody has to climb directly over it.

that’s the thing, top gun you step up over cabin door, I love the look of them, but also like flaps, issue with flaps is seeing past them while planing and I’m 6’

That is a great thing about the Kaama/KV Scarabs. The gunwale on my Scarab is around 8" wide and it's very easy to get to the bow. Stepping over the dash would be way harder to get to the bow.

That's funny, I've spent a lot of time on that boat...

I'll take those flaps off your hands if you would like to sell them.
